Referees who are planning to officiate outside Washington state or who plan to move to another state are required by U.S. Soccer to notify the WASRC so we can verify your licenses are in good standing and current with U.S. Soccer so out of state assignors can assign you to matches.
Note, the WASRC sometimes provides some funding for out of State events where:
Some form of partnership exits with the WASRC, such as select Regional / National events, and
The WASRC is directly involved or are notified in advance of the official that are selected.
Approval is always at WASRC discretion alone.
If you are requesting monetary assistance from the Washington State Association, please answer these questions.
How do you expect attending this event will benefit your development as a member of WA referees?
WASRC funds come exclusively from your peers. How will you "give back" to the WA program?
Which future State Events can you commit to support, such as Assess/Inst Training, Referee Day @ Sounders, (RDA) Referee Development Academy, State 6 Upgrade?
Do you intend to "give back" locally, and if so, how?
It's very easy and only takes a few moments. You will receive a digital copy of your license once completed.
