Learning the Laws of the Game (LOTG)

If you are a coach or a player or someone who wants to learn the Laws of the Game, you can take same online lessons as New Referees at no charge.  It takes about 3 hours, but you will come away with a good understanding or the rules of soccer.

In addition, once you've completed the Coach/Player Training online lessons, you can become a referee by paying the registration fees and attending an In-Person clinic.  You don't need to retake the lessons as long as you become a referee within the same soccer year (July 1 - June 30).

To register for a Coach/Player Training clinic, follow the instructions in "Registering for a Clinic" making sure to select only "Coach/Player Training" as the Official Type and "Coach/Player Training" as the Coach/Player Training "Level".
