Entry Level. Upon completing the New Referee training you are a "Referee". Approximately 88% of Washington state referees.

Upgrade to Referee Advanced – in WA – requires at least one year as a Referee
New Referee Clinics require the referee be at least age 13
New Referee Clinics consist of online modules and an In-person Field Clinic

Requirements

An experienced referee who has trained for officiating adult games. Approximately 9% of Washington state referees.
Referee Advanced is the next level above the enter level - Referee.
A Referee Advanced is a Referee who has been trained in the Adult game (however, may not be required to be assigned to these games)
Some assignors look for this, may give you a higher “ranking”
Upgrade to Regional Referee – in WA – requires at least one year as a Referee Advanced
Training Clinics require the referee be at least age 16. The registration won’t be processed until age 18.
Training Clinics consist of online modules (dealing with adult players) and a “Zoom” meeting, sometime but not required – in-person.
Referee Recertification is required yearly and consists of online modules
